Moonlit pirate ship under a deep blue night sky for the Nox Pirates

Nox Pirates

Who are the Nox Pirates?

The Nox Pirates were led by Pedro, a jaguar mink from Zou. Their name comes from “nox,” the word for night, reflecting the idea that their work would help bring a dawn for the Mink Tribe. Pedro and his partner Zepo traveled in search of Poneglyphs, hoping to support the world’s eventual liberation.

Pedro, Zepo, and the dawn

The Nox Pirates’ expedition ended in disaster when they encountered Big Mom in Totto Land. Pedro lost much of his remaining lifespan to secure his crew’s escape, a sacrifice that became part of his determination to help the future Pirate King. Years later, he joined the Straw Hats during their mission to recover Sanji.
